We live in a world where an increasing amount of evidential material is being recorded every day, much of it captured on smart phones, CCTV systems and similar devices. These recordings tend to have at least one thing in common: noise makes the wanted speech hard to hear and understand. Trinity Enhance™ includes all of the advanced filtering developed for our CEDAR Trinity surveillance system, but now made available as an AAX, AU, VST2 and VST3 compatible plug-in that runs on all of the common audio and video playback and editing platforms.

It's incredibly simple to use but nonetheless an effective audio forensic toolkit comprising four related processes that suppress noise and enhance speech to increase listenability and intelligibility.

• Motor removes steady noises such as engine rumble, mains hum, air conditioners and fans.
• Noise reduces broadband noise.
• Background makes background sounds appear louder relative to the foreground.
• Speech enhances speech signals relative to other types of sound.

Quick to master, Trinity Enhance allows even novice users to clean difficult material to a standard that would have seemed impossible just a few years ago and, although designed primarily for speech enhancement in the forensic laboratory, it can also be used to clean things such as interviews and reports intended for broadcast that were recorded in particularly noisy environments.
