In 2000, CEDAR ushered in the era of the zero-latency digital dialogue noise suppressor, or 'DNS'. A revolution in post production, the first DNS1000 was delivered to Skywalker Sound in September of that year, and units were soon to be seen on the soundstages of almost every major studio. A little over four years later, CEDAR's engineers were awarded Academy Awards® for services to the movie industry.
