We are delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Gordon Reid, will be presenting a workshop at the 2024 AES 8th International Conference on Audio Forensics.
Come to listen to him speak on 27th June about "Building and using bespoke microphone arrays to capture better audio evidence in challenging environments." In this practical workshop, Gordon will demonstrate how surveillance teams can construct custom ad-hoc arrays with off-the-shelf components to suit a specific deployment. He'll then feed the array's output to a modern blind source separation system to isolate individual speakers.
The conference also features other renowned speakers who will talk about advancements in forensic audio technology: signal processing, acoustical analyses, and audio authentication.
Date: 27 - 29 June, 2024
Time: 2:15pm - 3:15pm
Location: Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, Denver, Colorado, USA
