CEDAR Audio announces DNS2000 v3 with support for Intel-based Macs and Pro Tools 7.3

CEDAR DNS2000

4 April 2007

A significant upgrade to the original system, DNS2000 v3 is a Universal Binary that makes the DNS2000 Dialogue Noise Suppressor compatible with the latest versions of Pro Tools (currently 7.3) and all single- and dual- processor Motorola G4 and G5 (PPC) based Macs, as well as the latest Intel-based Macintosh Pros. It also improves integration with all Digidesign's control surfaces such as the D-Command and Icon systems.

The slick new user-interface is in keeping with the latest versions of Pro Tools. It makes the Remote Control Software (RCS) clearer and even easier to use, and improves support for users controlling multiple DNS2000 hardware units from a single Pro Tools system running a single instance of the DNS2000 RCS.

Installation and upgrading can be carried out by the user in just minutes and, perhaps best of all, the complete v3 upgrade is free of charge to all existing and future users.

DNS2000 v3 will be on demonstration at NAB2007 in Las Vegas in April, and upgrade disks will be available for existing users.
