Taking pride of place on our stand at IBC2018 we'll be highlighting the IABM and CAS Award winning DNS 2 dialogue noise suppressor, which is now becoming a standard for location sound recordists as well as many working in the fields of live broadcast and live sound. This is the most effective 2-channel dialogue noise suppressor ever developed, and can be seen worldwide in studios as well as in the field where it is used to provide clean audio for live broadcast. Also found on the sets of major movies and TV productions, it's amazingly simple to operate, and can be used to clean the audio 'there and then', or for confidence checking that all will be well in post.
Alongside this, we'll be demonstrating the DNS 8 Live dialogue noise suppressor. With its browser-based remote control system and safety bypass, this is ideal for use in critical broadcast paths and has become a standard for newsrooms, sports broadcasting and live sound. Next, there's the new CEDAR Studio 8 suite of plug-ins, which now offers eleven powerful processes that can greatly reduce or even eliminate all of the common audio problems encountered in film and TV post. Finally, we'll be showing the latest version of our flagship CEDAR Cambridge workstation, which is the tool of choice for the most demanding audio restoration requirements in national sound archives, film archives and libraries.
