CEDAR Audio USA to sponsor and exhibit at MIX Nashville

Mix Nashville 2015

17 August 2015

NASHVILLE, USA: Despite the old joke about turning out the lights, Nashville remains at important centre for the music industry in the USA, with many world-class studios providing facilities for some of the highest grossing artists and bands of all time.

So when Mix magazine announced that it would be teaming up with Pro Sound News and the Nashville section of the AES for a short conference and exhibition, CEDAR Audio USA was among the first to support it. Their President, Fraser Jones explains, "Like the audio industry in general, Nashville has changed enormously since the first CEDAR System in the city was installed in Glenn Meadows' studio at Masterphonics in 1991. Not only has the centre of activity moved from Music Row to the Berry Hill area, but what people are doing and how they are doing it has changed too. Mix Nashville is going to provide a perfect opportunity to return to the city and connect with friends and colleagues old and new, and I'll be showing CEDAR Studio 7 on a laptop system to demonstrate just how far audio restoration technology has come in those 24 years."

Although held on just a single day, there's going to be a lot happening and, in addition to the exhibition, there will be a keynote presentation, various master classes, and panel discussions with industry leaders sharing their knowledge on topics including recording, mixing, and studio business models.

CEDAR Audio USA will be exhibiting in Clair Global's refurbished touring rehearsal facilities, where you'll find comfortable couches and a coffee bar - perfect for discussing how our systems can solve your post, broadcasting, mastering and live sound problems.

MIX NASHVILLE will be held on August 29, at the 2015 Clair Global, Nashville and The Blackbird Academy Live.
