The CEDAR DNS One is nominated for a Resolution Award 2010

Resolution Award 2010

1 July 2010

As a result of requests from readers and manufacturers to credit excellence where it is due, the Resolution Awards celebrate quality and innovation in professional audio equipment. Nominations for the 2010 awards have now been announced, and we are proud that the CEDAR DNS One dialogue noise suppressor for Pro Tools® has been included in a short-list of six products in the Plug-in category.

Only registered readers of Resolution magazine are eligible to vote and, in an unusual move, the magazine has stated that votes from manufacturers will be identified and discarded. Zenon Schoepe, editor of Resolution magazine, says of the Awards, "It's time to recognise and reward the core values of quality and innovation that underpin our industry and to get away from accolades that merely trivialise and pay lip-service to the effort involved. You can expect Resolution Awards, like the magazine, to be different from the rest and they will be decided by the best qualified readership that there is. A Resolution Award will have genuine value."

About DNS One

The DNS One is everything you ever wanted from a software-based dialogue noise suppressor. A Pro Tools plug-in that runs on both Mac OS X and Windows, it makes no compromises in sound quality and offers the same Academy Award® winning performance as its illustrious siblings, the DNS1500 and DNS3000. Coupled to a superb new user-interface that allows you to control hundreds of channels of DNS (software and hardware, in any mix you choose) from a single Pro Tools host, DNS One is the most powerful and flexible noise suppressor ever developed.
