CEDAR cleans up the Silver Surfer

CEDAR audio restoration system used on Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

28 January 2008

According to the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, CEDAR's dialogue noise suppressors are used throughout the movie industry and on major releases everywhere. Most recently, we've learned that Gary Bourgeois has used CEDAR DNS to clean the audio while mixing Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer. Working with Greg Orlof at the William Holden Theatre at Sony Post Production in LA, he mixed the movie for 5.1, SDDS, DTS and SRD.

CEDAR manufactures a range of dialogue noise suppressors for audio post, live broadcast, and forensic audio. With virtually zero latency, they are ideal for removing unwanted noise from location sound, sound effects and dialogue.
