CEDAR Cambridge has been nominated for a 2003 Technical Excellence and Creativity Award in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement: Workstation Technology.
The CEDAR DNS2000 for Pro Tools has been nominated for a 2003 Technical Excellence and Creativity Award in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement: Signal Processing Technology/Hardware.
CEDAR Retouch has been nominated for a 2003 Technical Excellence and Creativity Award in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement: Signal Processing Technology/Software.
Gordon Reid, Managing Director of CEDAR Audio, says, "We are very proud to have been nominated in three categories, particularly since it seems that no company has achieved this before. I would like to applaud our team of designers and programmers who made this possible."
The TEC Awards were established by Mix Magazine in 1985 to honour outstanding achievement in the professional recording and sound production industries. Nominations are made by a select panel of 140 audio industry professionals, and winners are chosen by the 41,000 BPA-qualified Mix subscribers who cast the ballots bound in the August issue of the magazine. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday evening, 11 October 2003, at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel, to coincide with the AES Convention held at the Javits Convention Centre from 10th - 13th October. Proceeds from the ceremony will be donated to organisations working for the prevention of noise-induced hearing loss, and to scholarships for students of the audio arts and sciences.
